The bulk of the critique focused on microtransactions and the anti-cheat system in Mecha Break. With a glass-half-full mindset, these might have been improved for launch.
If gameplay was at fault, the game’s release would likely have been pushed back as Seasun addressed it.
From the new trailer, it’s unclear whether the feedback from the demo has been addressed. More updates will likely be shared soon, but final opinions won’t form until the game arrives.
If Seasun confirms meaningful adjustments, many who liked the demo will probably return for the full release.
All three game modes from the demo, 3v3, 6v6, and PvPvE extraction shooter, are expected to be part of Mecha Break’s full launch.
It could offer something for everyone, or it might be stretching itself too thin. We’ll know for sure when it releases on July 1 on Steam, Xbox Series X|, and PS5.
