Nintendo has announced the launch of Donkey Kong Bananza, a fresh 3D platformer arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 17 with a $69.99 price tag.
Games like Hollow Knight: Silksong and Mario Kart World are also expected soon.
Nintendo has revealed that its next big 3D title, Donkey Kong Bananza, will arrive exclusively on Switch 2 this July. This update came alongside fresh details about the upcoming console, which is slated for a June release, during the latest Nintendo Direct.

Featuring a mix of platforming and action, the 3D game includes destructible terrain that opens up hidden zones as players progress. Nintendo also debuted a gameplay trailer during the showcase.

Nintendo describes the adventure as helping Donkey Kong navigate the Underground World, uncovering more spectacular places the further he travels.
Latest Additions to the Nintendo Switch 2 Game Library
Nintendo Switch Online members can also look forward to visually enhanced versions of GameCube classics like Zelda: The Wind Waker, Soul Calibur 2, and F-Zero GX, joining Donkey Kong Bananza on the platform.
Nintendo Switch 2 will debut with Civilization VII—complete with mouse support—and new content for Deltarune. Additionally, Hollow Knight: Silksong is slated for a 2025 launch, while big-name games such as Cyberpunk 2077 are also headed to the console.
Joining the Nintendo Switch 2 is Age of Imprisonment, the latest from the Hyrule Warriors universe. Also debuting on day one is Mario Kart World, offering open-world racing and evolving courses, with a special launch bundle that includes the game.
