The much-anticipated April Nintendo Switch 2 Direct has aired, packed with fresh details about the next-gen console.

 

More than 40 Nintendo Switch 2 games were shown off in the latest hour-long Direct. Some were given a closer look, while others zipped by in quick previews.

 

Upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Games

Every game featured is coming to the new console, and this roundup will expand as more titles are announced ahead of the June 5 launch and afterward. Here’s the current lineup.

Well, the list also covers rumored games expected for the Switch 2. For more, see which titles are getting upgraded editions and those available at launch.

Some physical releases will be distributed via “Game-Key Cards.” And while you’ll be able to play plenty of Switch 1 games through backward compatibility, there will be a few exceptions.

 

Mario Kart World

Mario Kart World is the standout launch title for the Switch 2, bringing a fresh blend of kart racing, online co-op, and open-world adventure. It’ll be offered individually and in a console bundle.

As per the Latest Gaming News, Nintendo is launching a Switch 2 version of Tears of the Kingdom, packed with improvements similar to its earlier release.

Both upgraded titles will support the Zelda Notes feature via the Nintendo Switch mobile app, including voice-enabled navigation, live maps, and in Tears of the Kingdom, the ability to upload and share Autobuild plans.
