Monster Hunter Wilds: PlayStation may have jumped the gun by leaking the full details of Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, almost a full week before Capcom’s official presentation.
Although some PC players are experiencing issues, the game continues to draw in a committed audience eager for new content. Luckily, Capcom is expected to confirm the update soon.
That was the expectation until earlier today. Capcom’s Showcase on June 26 was meant to deliver the next big update on Monster Hunter Wilds, but a leak from PlayStation seems to have revealed the surprises in advance.
Here’s Everything Coming in Monster Hunter Wilds’ Massive Title Update 2
A new leak from Reddit user DemonLordDiablos on GamingLeaksAndRumours reveals that PlayStation has spilled the beans on Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 ahead of Capcom’s official announcement.
Now confirmed for a June 30 release, the update brings back fan-favorite Lagiacrus, with datamined hints pointing toward Seregios as the second returning monster, a prediction that’s been widely circulating in the community.
That’s not all when it comes to monsters, though, as Arch-Tempered Uth Duna is also mentioned by the page to be an upcoming Event Quest. Layered Weapons have also been revealed, which will let you “take your fashion hunting game even further” by letting you customise weapons without changing their stats.
The last part of the leak highlights some “additional content” like the Doshaguma Mask, with more to be shared during the Capcom Showcase. While the update appears to be packed with features, only time will tell if it’s enough to appease the fanbase.
