Elden Ring: Nightreign’s Final Boss Has Already Been Soloed. And No, It Wasn’t You

In Short:

  • Fans of FromSoftware were ready for a challenge, but Nightreign might be too much
  • The game favors groups of three, which makes solo play less practical
  • One expert player proved them wrong by beating the final boss alone

Only days into Nightreign’s release, and Elden Ring fans are already breaking limits. Someone soloed the final boss using the Executor class.

Nightreign had a tough reputation before launch. It lived up to it, and then some. Players now say it’s brutal, thanks to its multiplayer-heavy structure and battle royale-style features.

Players finally finding matches are running into serious challenges. It’s enough to shake your confidence. That is, unless you’re one of the few already achieving impressive solo wins.

PC Gamer says Ongbal might’ve just scored the first big solo win in Nightreign. The well-known YouTuber, famous for slaying it in FromSoft games, took down Heolstor solo. That’s no small feat.

Most players are battling matchmaking issues and early Nightlords. Ongbal, however, has cleared the final boss solo. The Executor’s parry-based combat style gave Ongbal the edge. This approach will feel familiar to Sekiro veterans.

This boss, Heolstor, is hard even for teams. Ongbal’s solo win is impressive. They did take damage, but no big deal. I’m sure a perfect run is coming soon. Elden Ring fans, it’s good to see you again.
