Metroid Prime 4: Nintendo Fans Freak Out After ‘Beyond’ Ad Claims It’s Already Out

Metroid Prime 4: After nearly ten years of anticipation, Nintendo could finally be gearing up to launch Metroid Prime 4, and it might be happening much sooner than expected.

A Nintendo ad in London has caused a stir after claiming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is “OUT NOW,” according to a Reddit user. However, Nintendo has yet to confirm an official launch date for the game, which was re-announced in February, and it’s not currently available on the eShop.

What looked like a routine ad at Oxford Circus has stirred up major excitement, as fans now wonder if the game will follow the shadow-drop path of 2024’s Oblivion remaster.

Let’s get one thing straight: this isn’t a fan-made image. It’s the real deal

Some may assume it’s a fake, but the ad’s discoverer backed it up with several shots from different angles, all indicating it’s a real installation,  not a digital fabrication.

Nobody knows for sure if the game was intended to be stealth-released. Some gamers have speculated that the “OUT NOW” line on the ad was meant to be hidden under a placeholder like “COMING SOON” or a yet-to-be-confirmed release date, which would only be revealed at the proper time.

Metroid Prime 4 Release Date

Either Nintendo’s hiding a surprise, or someone made a major error. An ad related to the upcoming game has popped up in London’s Underground, and it boldly claims the game is “out now.”

The discovery, made by Redditor Orchestar, was backed by multiple photos from various angles quite effectively ruling out AI trickery or Photoshop. After reviewing the images, we’re inclined to believe it’s real.

No, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond hasn’t been released, that much is certain. Still, the sudden sighting of a promo claiming otherwise is baffling. Was this a mistake, a miscommunication, or a relic of changed plans?

While fans hope it signals an imminent drop, the idea of Nintendo shadow-releasing one of its most hyped titles seems a little too ambitious.

What do you think is behind the “OUT NOW” confusion for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond? A stealth drop, a marketing slip, or something else entirely? Share your theories in the comments and keep following GameLuster for more coverage. Shoutout to Reddit user Orchestar for sharing the featured photo!
