Diablo 4: Blizzard has shared a breakdown of the features arriving in Diablo 4 Season 9, kicking off July 1.
The new content aligns with the third stage of the 2025 roadmap, first teased back in April, and provides insight into the future direction of the franchise.
With Season 9 (Sins of the Horadrim) launching on July 1, Diablo 4 has dropped an infographic outlining its major additions. Players will face a new questline that sends them in search of relics contaminated by Astaroth’s blood, adding a dark twist to the seasonal adventure.
Diablo 4’s Season 9 seasonal mechanic is Horadric Spellcraft, which introduces powerful spells such as Glacial Nimbus and Smoldering Ember. Also arriving are Horadric Jewels, new socketables offering exclusive benefits.
Confirming earlier rumors, Dante the hellhound will be the season’s companion pet, and a demonic goat joins the list of Reliquary unlockables.
